Our mission is to cultivate learners who engage with others through thoughtful questions that lead to understanding and appreciation of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. Our classical methods encourage a sense of humility and wonder preparing our students for honorable leadership in their future pursuits.
Meet the Team

Amy Brooks
Owner/ Academic and Test Prep Tutor
Amy Brooks graduated from Baylor University in 1994, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. She has an extensive background in corporate IT consulting and training; Amy taught in public and private school settings and homeschooled for 15 years. Altogether, she has spent 30 years in the field of education.
Additionally, Amy is a member of the National Test Prep Association. She seeks to provide the highest level of expertise and professionalism in test prep coaching, while demonstrating the strongest strategies needed for success on each exam.

Amy has been married to her college sweetheart, Taylor, for 30 years. They have four children who have graduated from their homeschool and continued their undergraduate degrees at Texas A&M University and Abilene Christian University. Taylor and Amy also treasure their new role as grandparents to their first grandchild.
Amy finds joy in being a lifelong learner and inspiring students along their educational journey. She is passionate about students growing in academic confidence as they discover how they learn best to fulfill their life's purposes.

Jennifer Privett
Academic Tutor
Jennifer Privett graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in biology and a minor in English. She later earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of North Alabama. She worked as a nurse in medical intensive care in Mississippi and Virginia.

Jennifer has been married to her husband, Michael, for 27 years, and their adventures have been plentiful. She served as a Marine Corps Officer’s wife until Michael’s retirement and today continues to support her family by standing beside her husband in his career as a police officer and helping to raise their three children.

Jennifer began homeschooling their children when her oldest was in the second grade. Since then, she and Michael have graduated two of their children from their homeschool, both of whom are pursuing higher education. Their youngest child is entering her junior year of high school.

Jennifer finds joy in serving families and leading children. For over 10 years, Jennifer delighted in tutoring and directing homeschool students and their parents. She believes nothing is more
rewarding than encouraging a child to pursue what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and
commendable. Helping a child learn and grow is a true gift.

Sara Watson
Academic Tutor
Sara Watson graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in English in 1999. She taught remedial English at a community college and worked as a legal secretary before she and her husband moved to Central Asia for two years.
Sara has been married to her husband, Lane, for 24 years and they have five children. Their oldest is a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas and two are studying at Blinn College in College Station. Their youngest two children will be a freshman and sixth grader at a local university model school.
Sara has been homeschooling her children for 17 years. She has tutored and directed classes of elementary, middle and high school age students. She loves helping students find joy and purpose in what they are learning. Sara specializes in reading, literary analysis, and writing.​

Katie Bonenclark
Academic Tutor
Katie Bonenclark graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Education. She taught middle school math in Houston for five years in Spring Branch ISD before tutoring for a semester. In the summer of 2025, her husband’s job relocated their family to the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Katie met her husband, Luke, in college, and they were married in the summer of 2021. Their son, Micah, is two years old, and he makes life so much fun! Katie is blessed to be a full-time mom during the week while Luke works for American Airlines. As a family, they enjoy traveling, spending time with loved ones, and getting to know their neighbors and church community. In her free time, Katie loves cooking, writing, or just enjoying a good cup of coffee and a quiet moment.

​While being a mom is truly her dream job, Katie also has a passion for teaching - especially middle school students. She loves helping students become confident problem solvers and critical thinkers across all subjects, as well as being a source of encouragement in the midst of life’s daily demands. Building meaningful relationships with students and families is what she misses most about being in the classroom. Katie specializes in Math and Science instruction.
